Chichester Festival have come up with a brilliant idea. One of their biggest theatre hits of last summer was the musical Flowers For Mrs Harris. This is now available free to view online from their website, until May. I watched it on Thursday afternoon and thoroughly enjoyed it and it was superbly filmed and presented.
When I texted my partner to tell her I have been to a Thursday afternoon matinee at Chichester and, for once, I didn’t have to rush for a train she thought I had sunstroke!! Last year I interviewed Clare Machin from that production. We are pictured together. I also interviewed Gary Wilmot who was also in the cast, in several different roles. They were both outstanding in it.
