SAD DEATH OF CHRISTOPHER BEENY

John has a great memory  of an interview he did in Cardiff in 2010 with the late Christopher Beeny, who died in early January 2020. Chris was an early television idol when he played Lenny in Britain’s first soap opera The Grove Family. Later he played the footman Edward in the classic Upstairs Downstairs long running series. Then came Billy Henshaw in In Loving Memory. His last major TV series was Last Of The Summer Wine. He was 78.
