WC October 3.
Popped up to London on Monday to visit my long term friend Craig Douglas. My son, Sean, had not seen him for around 20 years. Craig is his godfather. Sean’s lovely wife, Susie, was thrilled to meet Craig for the very first time. We had a great time and Craig was in the mood to relate a few stories from his amazing life as a pop star. Sadly, ill health has meant he has had to give up the business. He did talk about the three goals he shot past me in a schoolboy football match. This story is in my new book, The John Hannam Interviews.
Had a great night at the Binstead Methodist Church on Thursday when I was their guest for the evening at a special supper night. Great hospitality, a very attentive audience and my new book was well received. I was surprised when a young man brought up a copy of my 2000 book, I Was A Stage Door Johnny, to be signed.
There has been quite a lot of interest in the book on social media and a few national publications are showing interest. Being asked to make one or two media appearances to talk about the book. The County Press have just done a feature and the Southampton Echo are likely to include a piece in the next few days.
