WC FEBRUARY 25.
Tuesday was a remarkable and inspirational day. It was a 13 hour round trip to Broadstairs but well worth it. I caught up with a remarkable guy – Jason Dors-Lake, the son of the iconic legend Diana Dors and Alan Lake. We met at a wonderul bijou hotel, the Salon Bohemia, and we really hit if off. It was a long trip but well worth it just to have Jason on my special Mother’s Day radio show on March 10.
I also had the thrill of the return trip on the fastest train in Britain. Going near the motorway we just sailed away from fast moving cars, as if they were just crawling along at 80mph and more. Jason wants me to go back in the summer when Broadstairs will look better than ever. It was a wee bit misty on this occasion.
Saw the Red Tie production of The Long Road at the Apollo, their new home, on Saturday night. Another most enjoyable evening with some excellent performances.
