Had a great late afternoon at the Admiral Drake, Portsmouth, on Wednesday when I nipped over to interview Bobby George, before his darts night. He was in brilliant form and it will make great radio. I loved Bobby’s golden era of darts when millions watched on TV – and what a showman he was! Brilliant stuff. We had some fun – with and without the mikes.
I had a very enjoyable Saturday night watching Lloyd George Knew My Father, at the Totland Village Hall. Nice to see two new members of the Curtain Up Group – and one really stole the show.
