SAD DEATH OF BILL JENKINS.

John, like many others in Island sport, is saddened by the death of  101 year old BILL JENKINS. Ironically, it came just a few days after John’s full page feature on Jenks  in the County Press. He did so much for Island cricket during his years with Shanklin CC and the IWCCA. He lived to an amazing age and at the time of his death was still the President of Shanklin CC.

Bill was such a popular character and the Island’s cricket community are thinking of Bill’s family at this sad time. A real local legend.
