WE are now planning to release our first two DVDs in time for Christmas. These will include just over a dozen interviews from my 120 television chat shows for both TV12 and Solent TV. Maurice Gilliam is working on this project with me and virtually all of the interviews will feature Island characters both past and present. The introductions have to be filmed and the sleeve designed but all should be ready for a November release. If these go well, we have four more pencilled in for 2021.
Among the guests on volume one will be the wonderful Sylvia Jones, the late Military Road farmer, (pictured) and the incomparable Oscar Stretch.
