Long-term comedian and game show host Jeff Stevenson was first interviewed by John when he was a 17 year old comic on the Isle of Wight. That was 41 years ago. They have kept in contact over the years. Recently John was surprised to receive an email from Jeff from Mumbai. He had taken the 10 hour flight from London.
He told John: ” Thank you for making my flight so much more enjoyable. I listened to a lot of your interviews on the podcasts and I really found every one really fascinating. I loved your archive interviews with Windsor Davies, Frankie Howerd and Freddie Starr. To hear Frankie from 40 years ago was so interesting. Loved the Tarby one and others with Bruce Welch and Leslie Grantham. Keep up the wonderful work you do John.”
Jeff is now one of the world’s most popular comedians on cruise ships and these keep him busy all the year round.
