It’s always sad to lose friends and recently, within a week, I was hit by the deaths of three long-term friends – and I had so much time and respect for all of them. These were Dave Egerton, Roger Cross and Ben Bishop. I send condolences to all their families.
On Tuesday I nipped up to Woking to interview one of my favourite ladies – the lovely Marti Webb. Currently she is one of the stars in in the first-ever British tour of La Cage Aux Folles. This comes to the Mayflower, Southampton, from June 21 to 24. Marti was in great form.
