What a busy week undertaking a few interviews and many head-down sessions preparing for the IW Amateur Theatre Awards on Tuesday November 11.
I nipped up to London on Tuesday to interview Australia’s most successful female pop star of all time – TINA ARENA – and what a lovely lady. She had so many world hits in the 90s before moving on to great success in the world of stage musicals. Now she is back with a stunning album called Reset.
I also managed to catch the new Pepperpots production The House of Frankenstein at Whitwell Village Hall on Friday night – and it was scary at times. One or two outstanding performances and one to muse over for next year’s theatre awards. The following night I saw an outstanding production of The Little Shop of Horrors, from Black Iris Events, at Shorwell. Some quite brilliant performances from the young cast.
