WC MARCH 24.
Early in the week one or two interviews were sorted out and they are Island guests with fascinating stories. More news soon. I am also trying for one of two of my own personal favourites to help celebrate my 25th year of John Hannam Meets.
Had a great Tuesday lunchtime when I met up with Ian Fraser, an old working colleage. We had a great lunch in Portsmouth and talked about our old live with United Biscuits.
The week was not so good with the sad news of the death of Gloria Minghella, one of the nicest people I have ever met. I can look back with happy memories of the many times we met up. I feel so sad for her wonderful family.
Went to Arreton on Thursday night to see the local community theatre group perform Blithe Spirit. One or two of the actors were quite outstanding.
On Friday morning I was interviewed – for a change. This was by Richard Wright for a forthcoming article in the CP. It was fun – and he is a great old pro.
Delighted to say one or two Islanders have agreed to come on the show – and they have good stories to tell.
