The early part of my week was writing articles on Hilary Hall and Fiona Newnham, (ex-powerboat racer Fiona Brothers) for the September issue of The Beacon.
This summer has been particuarly quiet for interview opportunities but things are suddenly about to happen. One one day I had five interview requests accepted and more seem very iminent.
I went to see a play called Angels in the River on Thursday night. I loved the acting from the three Island ladies but I was not so sure what it really was all about – and neither were some others in the audience, jusged on the comments I overheard on the way out.
Loved the Joe Pasquale show at Shanklin Theatre and his support act – Ben Langley – also got a great reception. Had a few words with my good friend Joe P.
