He still vividly remembers the day in March, 2004, when she came live into the John Hannam Meets studio. It was one of the most emotional interviews in his 44 year career as a writer and broadcaster. John only met her on a few occasions but found her such a lovely young lady. JOHN SADDENED BY THE DEATH OF BRUCE FORSYTH.

Like millions of others, John was hit by the sad news of the death of Bruce Forsyth. Back in 1998 John was privileged to go the Bruce's home to record an hour-long interview with him. He was made most welcome and was there around two hours and, of course, Bruce was in great form.

"Obviously this was one of the great days of my long career as an interviewer. He was so kind to me and it was just a thrill to be in the company of such an iconic entertainer. He was a huge star but I found him delightfully modest and not full of his own importance," said John.

Over the weekend John has been working for hours on a special tribute podcast to celebrate the life of Bruce Forsyth, which should be online within a day or so. This includes virtually all the conversation they had back in 1998.
